Amazing Words Speech Pathology provides mobile services specialising in speech, language, literacy, fluency, cognitive and social communication.
We provide client centered in-home and community-based therapy services within a 30km travel distance from our base in Hallett Cove.
We provide services to children and adults who are NDIS self-managed or plan managed as well as private clients.
We will help you develop the skills you
need to communicate successfully in everyday life.
We can provide support in the following areas:
· Speech disorders – articulation, phonological disorders, fluency (stuttering), voice issues
· Literacy skills- reading, writing, spelling
· Receptive language – understanding language, following directions, comprehension
· Expressive language – vocabulary, grammar, social communication
· AAC (Alternative and augmentative Communication) – gestures, sign language, visual aids, electronic devices to enhance or replace spoken communication
· Cognitive communication -orientation, attention, memory, problem solving, pragmatics
Meet Lydia -
Speech Pathologist
Lydia is the founder of Amazing Words Speech Pathology.
She offers evidence-based speech assessments and therapy
for children and adults, personalized to their unique communication needs. With a background in teaching and as a mother of four, Lydia brings both professional and personal experience to her practice.
She supports people of all ages and diverse needs and has a special interest in working with those on the autism spectrum.
